Size tempera is a painting medium now almost forgotten. You will explore the materials and processes used by Renaissance artists working in this medium. Three weekly live demonstrations, and tailored guidance and feedback between one session and the next will provide technical know-how, art historical insight, and the inspiration and time needed for you to further your own practice. You have the option of ordering materials at an additional cost of £85 (postage in the UK included): what is needed to make glue size, a range of top quality natural pigments, one primed canvas (size 20x20 cm).
